Apr 19, 2018Egg Harbor Township, passed away on April 17, 2018 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Rebecca canned fruits and vegetables at various places during war times, and also worked many years at Shrank's as a seamstress. In Rebecca's younger years, along with her sister, Margaret, she sang on the radio. She was also known to all for her wonderful recipes for baked macaroni and cheese and mini cheesecakes. Rebecca was predeceased by her parents, Harlan and Rebecca Hollenbeck; her husband, Warren E. Slotterback; her beloved sister, Margaret Sear; her brothers, Harlan and George Hollenbeck; and her granddaughter, Sherry Slotterback Henry. A loving mom, she is survived by her daughter, Kathleen McAndrews; her sons, Warren (Sherry), Jerry (Sue), and Jeff (Karen) Slotterback; she was a loving grandmom to her grandchildren, Colleen McAndrews Cashdollar (Kevin), Shawn P. McAndrews (Christine), CarrieAnne Slotterback, and Jeffrey and his wife, Melissa, and Michael Slotterback. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Megan McAndrews, Brandi McAndrews, Kevin Michael and Tyler James Cashdollar, Emily and Aidan McAndrews, Felicia Henry and George Henry, and Zoe, Rebecca, and Mikayla Slotterback; and her great great grandchildren, George IV, Lucias, and Riley Ann Henry. A viewing will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 1pm until 2pm at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. A funeral service will follow at 2pm. Burial will be held in Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Rebecca's memory to Faith Bible Baptist Church, 2063 Ocean Heights Avenue, Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey 08234.
